A Yin practice works deeply into the connective tissues, nourishing joints, ligaments, and fascia of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. It is the perfect compliment to a more active or Yang-based practice or exercise.
Most poses are seated or lying and held from anywhere from 2-5 minutes. A Yin practice is accessible to any body type, size, shape, color, and weight and it’s a gloriously healing opportunity for you to slow down and tend to your body, mind, and Spirit.
A Yin practice can guide you from noise to silence, stress to calm, and from complexity to simplicity. It's about giving yourself permission to come back to yourself. To get back in touch with you. To tend to your body and to listen to that subtle voice of your intuition.
