Allow yourself some time for YOU!
The energy of the holiday season is building and though it can bring moments of joy, togetherness, and peace, it can also bring stress, depression, and anxiety as well. The demands of the season often require us to keep track of and pay attention to a greater number of responsibilities than usual, such as shopping and running errands while battling crowds, holiday parties, social obligations, family triggers, and houseguests which are all potential stressors.
What if you could leave all that behind for just a little while and focus completely on your well-being? To hold yourself and to be kind to yourself and give yourself the gift of looking after your nervous system by immersing yourself in the healing benefits of a Yin Yoga practice and a High-Vibrational Sound Bath.
Shauna and Tatiana invite you to take a break, slow down, relax, and be still.
This 90-minute immersion class will include a guided journey to open, activate, and balance your chakras (your spiritual batteries), a series of five Yin poses (seated or lying), oracle cards for personal guidance, and the sounds and vibrations from a variety of instruments such as a shamanic drum, gong, crystal pyramid, and singing bowls.
Yin poses are performed with the muscles relaxed and held for 2-7 minutes. It is a gentle approach to joint care and helps to reduce stress and anxiety, improve flexibility and joint mobility, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and calm the mind and body. As an introspective practice, you are fully supported in softening, letting go, and releasing.
A Sound Bath produces vibrations that relax the mind and body. The instruments used provide a full body listening experience and affect the way your entire nervous system reacts. Sound and vibration lowers your heart rate and blood pressure, improves your mood, reduces anxiety levels, tension, and sadness, and can help diminish pain.
Together, these healing modalities have endless benefits.
Sound and vibration help loosen muscles while holding in a pose in which you're encouraged to relax your muscles. Both disciplines provide a space for healing physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Together they bring body awareness, your ability and willingness to tune into your intuitive body and compassionate heart. And together, Yin and Sound help improve your ability to sleep more deeply and soundly.
You deserve to take a break. You deserve to focus on you and receive the healing benefits of both Yin and Vibration.
Imagine what gifts you may uncover when you give yourself some time for you.
